Senior System Software and Database Support Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage SQL Server databases through multiple product lifecycle environments, from development to mission-critical production systems.
• Responsible for the monitoring and uptime of all production databases.
• Responsible for developer SQL code review to ensure queries are optimized and tuned to perform efficiently prior to production release.
• Responsible for regular maintenance on databases (e.g., Vacuum, Reindexing, Archiving).
• Not limited to ASP.NET, SQL Server, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and C#/VB.NET
• Schedule and assist Linux Administrators with RedHat and Oracle Linux Enterprise (OLE).
• Analyze and extract ININ call recording data using complex SQL queries from multiple SQL Server databases.
• In-depth knowledge in MS SQL Server and related tools & technologies such as SSIS, SSRS & SSAS

 Requirements

• 3 Years of MS SQL Server Development experience required.
• Strong background in object-oriented development techniques
• Working experience in writing complex SQL Queries, Stored Procedures
• Must have strong knowledge of Linux.
• Database design and development (Microsoft SQL Server)
• Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Strong understanding of command line and server administration.
• Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessary
• Ability to plan resource requirements from high-level specifications
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issues
