Roles & Responsibilities – include specific functions/ tasks/ performance objectives

SAP Functional consultant to work independently and as part of a wider SAP team to execute the following responsibilities:

• Should have good functional and configuration knowledge in designing SAP solutions in the FICO modules of ECC 6.
• Should have excellent configuration knowledge of master data, GL, AP, Asset Accounting, Project Accounting, and ideally Transaction Manager including classic GL accounting and automatic payment programs.
• Should have configuration knowledge of cost element, cost center, internal order, and profit center accounting.
• Understand dependency between FI and CO and other modules. Good knowledge in IDOC processing and integration with COUPA, ABINITIO, and other third-party environments
• Ensure compliance with existing change and reporting standards. Ensure the integrity of the finance configuration of the SAP system across multiple landscapes.
• Support production configuration and assist in functional change requests. Support business implementations by sharing best practice configuration skills.
• Work with the Service Desk to facilitate incident & problem resolution, quickly resolving critical incidents within SLA. Work with SAP to resolve software bugs. Keep abreast of SAP releases, enhancements/new functionality, and perform application research.
• Liaise with the ABAP, HR, and Basis teams to ensure successful product-wide application of change and incident resolution.
• Certification in SAP FICO is preferable, knowledge in emerging technology like S/4 HANA and cloud solutions
• The candidate must be an Individual contributor to the own SAP Finance function in the delivery end to end between various stakeholders.
