Cleaner/ Sweeper

Perform heavy cleaning duties, such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish. Duties may include tending furnace and boiler, performing routine maintenance activities, notifying management of need for repairs, and cleaning snow or debris from sidewalk.Sweeper, in fact, is a machine capable of removing the finest dust and coarsest debris from any surface, in a short time and without effort for the operator, through the use of brushes and vacuum cleaners.

Many aspects of a cleaner's role require practical cleaning skills, such as: Attention to detail. Understanding of how to handle cleaning products safely, including harsh chemicals. Numeracy skills to measure cleaning fluids. Ability to operate cleaning tools, such as steam cleaners and floor buffers.
