JFrog Architect | DevOps Engineer

Roles and responsibilities of devOps Engineer:

• Work on manual, AWS CodeDeploy, and Bitbucket code deployment
• work on Linux/Unix OS and application patching for many technologies
• Manage, plan, and put into practise software patches, upgrades, and hotfixes on servers.
• Create and alter programmes or scripts to execute out tasks
• Give advice on how to make the environment more stable, secure, effective, and scalable.
• making life easier for developers so they can concentrate on the business logic instead of deploying and managing it
• coordinating the sprint's release.
• team education on excellent practises
• Finding ways to automate the procedures utilising Terraform, CloudFormation, Bitbucket pipelines, CodeDeploy, and scripting to reduce human error and save time
• putting into practise cost-effective cloud measures and reducing current costs.

Technical Skillset Required for devOps Engineer

• Experience of Jfrog Architecture, design, and platform setup.
• Experience in Jfrog Platform Administration
• Experience of implementing Jfrog components – Artifactory, Xray, Insights across multiple engagements
• Experience on integrating Jfrog platform with Identity and access management tools, and other peripheral systems
• Experience on Security vulnerabilities identification, scanning artifacts, builds and Release Bundles using Jfrog Xray
• Awareness of Jfrog - distribution component will be highly beneficial
• Experience on CI / CD tool stack - on Git / Azure DevOps, Jenkins / Maven, Docker / Kubernetes, including DevOps practices
• Experience of package signing capabilities
• Experience on connecting to key vaults, encryption for digital signatures
• Deployments on cloud computing environments - AWS/Azure
• Knowledge of Agile Methodologies - Scrum
• Excellent problem-solving skills
