Data Entry Operator Roles & Responsibilities

  • Entering customer and account data from source documents on time
  • Compiling, verifying the validity, and sorting information to formulate source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing errors, solving them, and looking after the overall output
  • Continuously updating the company’s databases
  • Scanning information to check its accuracy
  • Collecting invoices, reports, and personal details such as documents and information of employees
  • Creating valid spreadsheets
  • Backing up data from time to time
  • Completing assigned duties from time to time
  • Storing hard copy data in an organized manner
