2. E-learning

E-learning or electronic-learning is the type of teaching or training provided through the use of digital resources such as online videos, tests, and courses. This is among the easiest types of employee training as the trainees can use their smartphones or laptops/computers provided by the company and can be done remotely.

5. Mentoring or coaching

Mentoring and coaching are when a new employee is taken under the wings of a senior employee or supervisor in order to learn the job. This one-on-one mentoring allows the new employee to be more comfortable in asking questions that one may be hesitant to ask in a classroom setting. This can be done either virtually or in person.

6. Group discussions and activities

Group discussions allow the trainees to be interactive with activities and group projects. It is usually led by an instructor or someone who acts as the facilitator. This type of training is perfect for teamwork exercises in order to tackle complex issues.

7. Case studies

Case studies allow trainees or new employees to learn the job by reading materials provided by the trainer or facilitator. They are perfect for tackling complex problems and can be done as a group.
