In a world where technology is rapidly evolving, companies need to protect themselves from potential risks and threats, and to do so they are always looking for people with exceptional skills in risk analytics and assessment. 

As the demand for candidates with this skill is high, the pay is also better. The average base salary for a risk analyst in India is ₹520,000 per annum. 

Cryptography:

The process of developing or deciphering encryption systems to avoid attacks, removing risks or identifying critical information is what cryptography is all about. It requires skill sets such as analytical skills, mathematical skills, firm grasp of computer science as well as tech writing skills.

Prescriptive Analytics:

Neural Networks:

A neural network allows a set of data to mimic how the human brain operates. The networks have exceptional capabilities to save meaningful data from broad data, which is used to identify trends and patterns that are usually hard to comprehend. 

For those with advanced math and algorithms skills, machine learning, and programming skills, to name a few, one can opt to upskill themselves with neural networks and make a whopping average base salary of ₹22 lakhs a year. 

DevSecOps:

A combination of software development, security and operations, DevSecOps allows companies to analyze and implement security decisions and actions. 

To be more precise, here’s a definition of DevSecOps by IBM:

“DevSecOps—short for development, security, and operations—automates the integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle, from initial design through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery.”

The average base entry level salary for those with this skill is ₹360,000 per annum and can go as high as ₹1,140,000 per annum for mid entry level positions.
