Now, if you are going to spend that much time earning your bread and butter, wouldn’t you expect that it is the right job for you? A job you enjoy with your heart and mind?

Where did the time go?

When you are so into your work, by the time you look at the clock it’s already time to go home. Time flies fast when you do something you enjoy. Do you experience the same with your current job? 

Are you cool with your colleagues?

Your co-workers play an important role in your job experience, as it is with their cooperation, you are able to execute your responsibilities effectively. Are you surrounded by coworkers with whom you can actually get along and are always ready to lend a helping hand?   

The good boss

If the boss doesn’t manage those under him/her well, it is likely that you will not enjoy the work environment. But what if you land with a boss who’s a role model, self-motivated, competent, smart, and doesn’t shout or discourage his/her employees? Having a good boss is one of the critical factors contributing to job satisfaction. 

The company culture

Do you like the company culture and mission? Do you fit in and share the same values? To be productive, you need to work in a place where you feel comfortable. If you aren’t, maybe it’s not the job or company for you. 

You are respected as a colleague and employee

Respect is a two-way street. So, you should get back the same respects you give to your colleagues and supervisors. How can you know for sure if they respect you? Well, you have their respect, when you have something important to announce or say, and they give you their full attention. 

You are growing

When do you know that you have learned or are still learning many new things at work and whenever you achieve something you feel your confidence-boosting, well, don’t you think you are at the right place? 

You deserve good pay

If your salary is fair and your position reflects the scope of your responsibilities, it could give you more room to grow without much worry. 

I love my job

You do not have to hesitate to answer the question of whether you love your job or not. The answer “Yes” comes out naturally from your mouth.

Take a look at the signs shown above and see whether your job or company is the right fit for you. Remember, if you are not happy with your job, it’s never too late to start a new.
